You’ll achieve: Familiarity with the key features of the Build a Doc customer portal.
Before You Start
You need:
- Active Build a Doc subscription (see Purchase a Subscription)
- Microsoft account used for subscription purchase
Access the Customer Portal
Portal URL: INSERT PORTAL URL HERE
- Navigate to the portal URL
- Click Sign in with Microsoft
- Sign in with your Microsoft account
Success: You’re signed in and can see your dashboard.
Portal Overview
The customer portal provides these core capabilities:
View Subscriptions
See your current plan, billing status, and renewal date. You can also change your subscription plan from here.

Create and Manage API Keys
Generate API keys needed to authenticate the Power Automate connector and other integrations. You can create multiple keys and revoke them when needed.

Monitor Usage
View reports on document generation, API call counts, and success rates. Export usage data as CSV for analysis.

Invite Team Members
Add users to your subscription and assign roles (Admin, Member, or Viewer) with different permission levels.

User Roles and Permissions
The portal supports three user roles with different access levels:
- Admin: Full control over subscription, users, and keys
- Member: Can create API keys and view reports
- Viewer: Read-only access to subscription and reports
